We want to make sure you have everything you need! Below is a list of resources to help you be successful whether you're studying at home, on campus or on the go.
AACC uses a learning management system (LMS) called Canvas to deliver all credit (and some noncredit) on-campus, online and hybrid courses. This is the primary location for accessing your class when learning remotely. It is also where you can find class reminders, assignments and resources that are available to you. Canvas even has a mobile app!
Visit our Canvas Learning Management System page if you're having any trouble accessing it on your desktop or mobile phone.
If you're dealing with unreliable technology or your device is no longer working, we might be able to help!
We have a few ways to get electronic devices for your classes:
To access Outlook email, log in to MyAACC with your username and password. Click on Unread emails in the Unread Messages webpart or visit this Technical Service Desk Client Portal Knowledge Base article for detailed information.
To access Microsoft Office, log in to MyAACC with your username and password. Click on the Office 365 Pro Plus button or visit this Technical Service Desk Client Portal Knowledge Base article for detailed information.
Students may receive additional technical assistance with Microsoft Office by emailing the Technology Learning Center at tlcta@king-net.net.
Make sure your classes don't fill up! The simplest and most straightforward way to register for your classes is through your MyAACC account. Be sure to register as early as possible – no one is given priority registration, so popular courses fill up fast.
You must register for class before the first scheduled class meeting. Instructions on registering for credit classes is found on our credit registration page.
Noncredit registration is open for each course until that course begins. Both new and returning students are able to register for classes online. Information regarding registering for noncredit classes can be found on our noncredit registration page.
One of the perks of being part of the AACC community is that students, faculty and staff can purchase a select number of software titles at significant discounts.
You can access software discounts from the Technology Resources card in MyAACC. You will need to log in to MyAACC with your AACC email address and password.
The Arnold Bookstore location is open for in-person shopping Monday through Thursday.
Many publishers have made digital versions of their books available for free to anyone who has a college email address. Their digital books are available on RedShelf and VitalSource.
